I'm an American who came to Japan because I've always had a fascination with Japanese culture. Now that I'm here, I've been given a wonderful opportunity to stay longer. I would love to use that time working and seeing what kind career opportunities might be available to me in the future. Music is my greatest passion, and I have spent my whole life working towards my music goals. I enjoy teaching, and plan on continuing to teach at least part time for the rest of my life (I'm a 4th generation teacher). While most of my professional experience teaching has been music lessons, I also did some tutoring (music theory) in college as well as organized and led the ear training club.

My strengths as a person are my sensitivity, willingness to change, and passion for excellence. My hobbies include gaming/sports with friends and fitness (yoga, weights).
